Since I am so very new to planning myself, I'm going to make my own spin on rookie mistakes. So here are some things I'm trying to stay away from/remember to do in my Rookie Season of planning.
1. I will try and remember to take BFs schedule into account when I am planning my week. Every Sunday I try to check with him to see when he is home so I can plan lunches and dinners for the week. Making sure you have accounted for everyone's schedule when planning your week makes everything go a little smoother.
2. Keeping my planner organized will be key. I want to make sure everything (personal and business) is accounted for each week. So I will make sure to keep and organized planner so I don't miss any important deadlines.
3. If I do not accomplish a task when originally planned I will pull it forward to the next week so it actually gets done. I can imagine it will be easy to skip over undone tasks, even if they are important.
4. Daily planning will some effort but will make my schedule work everyday. I need to be adding new tasks that arise daily. Spending 10 mins every morning to go over my tasks for the day and add in anything new will make planning easier.
5. Keeping everything consistent .... Once I find a niche I think sticking to it will make my planner neater and more organized!
It all comes together in the end. And organization is key!!
Fair Winds!
