I am a runner..... Shocking, I know!! I have done my fair share of races, morning runs, group runs, relays, etc. That being said there are still many things that amaze me everyday when I am out on a run.
Lady on bike with dog on the sidewalk- me on road.
Kids with no adults - In my opinion, any child under the age of 12 should have an adult running with them or at least in swatting distance of the kid!
Littering while running - I am sure you took that garbage out of your pocket, put it back there until you get home
Geese - They are MEAN!!!
Sunrises - Some of the most beautiful sunrises come on mornings that running seems like a chore.
The 15 year old carrying his shoes to the car ..... followed by his mother with a golf bag on her shoulders... WTH people.... your kid, who is bigger than you, can carry their own bag!
All the dogs being walked. They are always so excited, even the old ones.
Even if you arent a runner I am sure you have seen some things in your travels that make you go 'WHAT THE....?!' SHARE!

I just got my third installment of my biggest downfall ..... I mean Stitch Fix. It was nothing but wonderful and the only thing keeping me from buying all of the clothes was knowing that I still need to pay off my student loans!! Stitch Fix, for those who don't know, is a home delivery shopping network. You fill out a profile of your sizes, body type, clothing preferences, and how often you want to receive your 'FIX'. They send you 5 items and you get to try them on at home and decide if you want to keep anything. I get mine every 3 months just to avoid over spending on clothes. There is a $20 styling fee for each Fix, however if you purchase any of the items they deduct that from your total. Also if you decide to buy all 5 items they give you a 25% discount. I'm super excited about this FIX and want to share this experience with you all. The first item I always open is the review of items. It gets me psyched!! It shows all of the items they sent and different ways in which you can wear them. Both of these items came in the fix. The jeans are SUPER soft and fit so well, even the length, which has been an issue in my past 2 fixes. I wore the jeans for most of the pictures and only took them off when I absolutely HAD to. I fell in love immediately. As you can see the jeans are a mid rise which I wasn't so sure about but once I had them on they were so comfy. And yes I am bringing back the bottom zipper! I like the colors and feel of the shirt. It is very light and breathable. I don't know that I loved the design though. Things started to get a little crazy with the camera! This sweater was also from the FIX and it was just okay. I like the style, you will see it again in another pic later, but it was a little light/thin for a sweater. Still with the jeans .... I'm telling you I didn't want to take them off! This shirt was my favorite of the tops in this FIX. It fit well and was very comfy. Thinking about my closet, I know I have so many striped shirts, not sure I need another. My last item, the pencil skirt. This is like my most sought after item and I can never find one I love.
This one was nice and I liked the way it fit, but for the price I think it should have been a little better material. It looked good with the sweater and everything (even Lula thought so!) but I wasn't in LOVE ..... Like with the jeans. Overall this was my favorite FIX of the three I have gotten. I could imagine all of the items in my closet and wearing them often. In the end I kept the jeans, shocker I know, and sent the rest back. This decision was based on the price of the jeans. If they were a little less expensive I would have probably kept another item or two. The whole process is so much fun and SO easy. They even give you a bag with paid postage to ship back all unwanted items. If you want to take a look at Stitch Fix go to the link below. Feel free to ask me any questions and I can't wait until November to share my next FIX, and maybe I will have a better camera set up by then! ;-) https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/4629055 Fair Winds! I know that at 34 years old I have (and I hope) barely lived ..... I have seen and lived through some pretty amazing things.
I had a dream last night and woke this morning with different thoughts and ideas about what I believe to be true in life. So I thought I would share just to get them out of my mind. I believe: **in ghosts **in true love **that Lula loves me unconditionally **most people SUCK! **everyone should have to retake their road test every 5 years **professional athletes should all have to take a public speaking class.... And pass **all social media should have a 24 hour wait time from typing to posting. **if you want something you should ask for it **that Pluto should still be a planet **online shopping will be my downfall! **I only know 1 Led Zepplin song (Stairway to Heaven) **there is no candy better than Swedish Fish **black pens are WAY better than blue pens **most people are dehydrated and dont even know it This list seems trivial .... even to me. Don't know where it came from but its out there now, no take backs! Fair Winds! |
