Back in November I posted about our new boat and everyday since then I have thought about that boat. What needs to be done, what we need to buy, how much exercise clothing will I keep there, will I need new shoes? Ya know ... the important stuff!
Now that we are getting closer to putting her back in the water we are in need of some help...... She needs a name!
She is currently named Dream On V (read 5) but that name will not do for her new life. There was some controversy about changing the name, however I have now been informed that she has to come out of the water for the name change to not be a bad omen. And would you look at that she just happens to be out of the water!!
Now comes the hard part .... deciding on a name AND agreeing on it. Since there are two of us who have to live with this name and for the entire time we own this boat we will be associated with it at all Marina's, Yacht Clubs, and races (You dont know if shes a good racer or not!) it has to be agreeable and something we are not embarrassed to say over the radio!
The boat came from Long Island, as did Steve, and I went to school there, so it would be nice to incorporate that into her name. Now that she lives in the Capital District and Steve's business name has 'Capital' in there, that wouldn't be bad either. I'm just not feeling any suggestions or ideas that I have heard thus far.
HELP!!!!
All suggestions are welcome but not all will be entertained!
Fair Winds!
